Fabrication, Integration & Packaging

TDG Powerhouses provides engineering and design solutions that align fabrication, integration, testing, and delivery from day one.

What is the FIP Model

The FIP Model was developed to solve one of the most common challenges in complex electrical and power infrastructure projects: fragmented delivery.

Traditional project execution often relies on multiple vendors, disconnected handoffs, and competing priorities—introducing risk, delays, and costly rework. The FIP Model replaces that approach with a single, integrated delivery framework.

By aligning engineering, fabrication, integration, and packaging under one coordinated team, the FIP Model creates a streamlined path from concept to deployment. Every phase is informed by the next, resulting in smarter decisions, tighter coordination, and predictable outcomes.

One model. One partner. One accountable team — From design through delivery.

The Four Phases of the FIP Model

The FIP Model is executed through four coordinated phases that guide projects from initial engineering through final delivery.

Engineering & Design

Front-end engineering coordination aligns system layout, equipment interfaces, structural requirements, and project specifications prior to fabrication. This phase establishes the technical foundation for downstream fabrication and integration activities.

Fabrication

Structures, enclosures, and system components are fabricated under controlled shop conditions in accordance with approved designs and project requirements.

Integration

Electrical, mechanical, and control systems are installed and integrated within the fabricated structure, allowing components to be coordinated and assembled as a complete system.

Packaging & Delivery

Completed systems are prepared for shipment, including final inspection, packaging, and coordination for transport to the project site.

How the FIP Model Supports Our Solutions

Every solution TDG delivers is executed through the FIP Model to ensure consistency, coordination, and accountability from design through delivery.
